Strive to perform well assigned professional tasks

At the Congress, the political reports and work review of the Branch Secretariat clearly stated that in the past term, under the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic and unfavorable fluctuations of the domestic and foreign socio-economic situation, the Branch overcame difficulties, continued to advise the Newspaper's leaders, and made many contributions to help the unit successfully complete assigned political and professional tasks.

It is evident that the press products (printed newspapers, electronic newspapers in Vietnamese and English, special issues, specialized pages, special publications...) are constantly being improved and enhanced in professional quality, attracting more readers, increasingly affirming the prestige and position as the leading foreign affairs newspaper in the press industry.

The Vietnam World Press Association has largely fulfilled its assigned professional duties. — Editor-in-Chief of the World & Vietnam Newspaper Nguyen Truong Son presented flowers to congratulate the Secretariat of the World & Vietnam Newspaper Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term.

In particular, the Vietnamese e-newspaper has made a breakthrough in all aspects, especially in the number of readers and ranking position, contributing to a clear improvement in revenue from online advertising sources.

Thanks to the initiative and creativity in opening up many new methods and products, the press economic activities have been promoted, ensuring revenue and offsetting regular expenses of the Editorial Board, contributing to the continuous improvement of the unit's career activities step by step, moving towards complete financial autonomy.

The team of journalists has been strengthened and developed with many young writers who are creative and comply with the regulations of press management agencies and the Vietnam Journalists Association, as well as the Party's policies and State laws.

In his speech directing the Congress, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Truong Son hoped that the Association would continue to propose to the Vietnam Journalists Association to admit 100% of qualified journalists into the Association; and organize regular association activities with practical content.

At the Congress, delegates elected the Secretariat for the 2023-2025 term, consisting of three comrades, and assigned the new Secretariat to develop a specific program and plan to organize, implement, inspect, and urge the implementation of the Resolution set forth by the Branch Congress.
