Tan Dinh Ward (HCMC): Many social security activities, taking care of people's lives

After more than 3 months of operating a 2-level local government, Tan Dinh ward has achieved many results in mass mobilization work with many social security activities, taking care of people's lives.

Tan Dinh ward leaders awarded collectives and individuals who actively and effectively implemented the emulation movement of skillful mass mobilization and the 100-day emulation movement to implement the 2-level local government model.

On October 9, the Tan Dinh Ward Party Committee (HCMC) held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's Traditional Day of Mass Mobilization (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2025), the 26th anniversary of the National Mass Mobilization Day (October 15, 1999 - October 15, 2025), and to commend collectives and individuals who have successfully implemented the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in 2025.

After more than 3 months of operating the 2-level local government, Tan Dinh ward has achieved many positive results in mass mobilization work. The ward People's Committee focuses on dialogue, listening, and promptly resolving people's legitimate petitions through the program "Morning Coffee - Tan Dinh listens and acts", neighborhood meetings...

The ward has implemented many practical social security activities such as: visiting 30 families of war invalids and martyrs; awarding 20 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; organizing "great solidarity meals" and giving 200 gifts to households in need.

At the same time, survey, repair and renovate the drainage system at 25/35 Tran Khac Chan with a cost of 301 million VND; support for 100 near-poor households with a total cost of 50 million VND; repair 1 house with a cost of 22 million VND; give gifts to 20 families of policy beneficiaries and war invalids, with a total cost of 20 million VND.

With the participation of more than 1,500 people, the fundraising walk program "For the poor" raised more than 950 million VND and awarded many scholarships, smartphones, and health insurance cards to households in difficult circumstances.

According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tan Dinh Ward Party Committee, Duong Thi Hong Gam, the ward continues to promote government mass mobilization associated with administrative reform, digital transformation, and better serve the people.

The ward also promotes the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in social supervision and criticism; replicates the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model, creates consensus, arouses the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
