Tuong Mai Ward Trade Union promptly grasps the thoughts and aspirations of workers.

On the morning of October 9, Tuong Mai Ward Trade Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with 150 official delegates representing 3,766 union members, workers and civil servants in the area.

The Congress is an important political event, marking the completion of the grassroots trade union organization in the context of Tuong Mai ward operating under a two-level local government model, concretizing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Hanoi City Labor Confederation on consolidating a strong trade union organization system from the grassroots.

Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Le Dinh Hung acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Tuong Mai Ward Trade Union in the past time, and at the same time requested that in the coming time, the Ward Trade Union focus on doing well a number of tasks. In particular, continuing to promote the representative role, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; proactively innovating working methods, promoting digital transformation, applying technology in union member management, promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers to advise the Party Committee and the government to resolve them right at the grassroots level.

The ward union needs to closely coordinate with socio-political organizations, promote emulation movements of "Good Labor", "Good Worker", "Initiative - Creativity", associated with the goal of green development, environmental protection, building Tuong Mai ward bright - green - clean - beautiful, civilized and worth living.

The Congress discussed and approved the orientation for the 2025-2030 term, including 3 breakthroughs, 9 targets and 6 groups of tasks and key solutions; announced the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the Tuong Mai Ward Labor Federation and appointed a delegation to attend the Congress of the Trade Union at a higher level. Comrade Dang Thi Yen was appointed to hold the position of President of the Tuong Mai Ward Labor Federation for the 2025-2030 term.
