Traffic flow on Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway

On the morning of October 10, the Vietnam Road Administration informed about traffic diversion for vehicles with less than 9 seats traveling from Hanoi - Thai Nguyen, old Bac Kan, Cao Bang following the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway (CT07) to Bac Phu intersection at Km26 to National Highway 3 at Km24 and National Highway 37 to Bac Ninh.

In the afternoon, from Cao Bang, old Bac Kan , Thai Nguyen to Hanoi, take the CT07 highway to Yen Binh intersection at Km41+850, exit to National Highway 3 at Km42 and continue to Hanoi and the delta provinces.

Previously, the impact of storm No. 11 caused heavy rains over a large area in Thai Nguyen city. By the evening of October 9 and early morning of October 10, floodwaters had overflowed onto the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway. Many sections of this route were flooded.

Currently, there is no more rain in Thai Nguyen province, but local flooding is still occurring in many places: at Km28+800 - Km29+050, about 150 m long, in the direction of Thai Nguyen - Hanoi (flooding about 60 cm); Km28+850 - Km29+050, about 100 m long, in the direction of Hanoi - Thai Nguyen (flooding about 15 cm).

Traffic and road units are coordinating with the traffic police force of Thai Nguyen province to regulate traffic at Yen Binh intersection Km41+350; at the same time, coordinating with the traffic police team in Hanoi to regulate traffic at Km29+250.
