Industrial and energy development in the period 2025 - 2030

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 4828 to deploy industrial and energy development tasks according to Resolution No. 01 dated July 14, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on the target of double-digit economic growth in the period 2025 - 2030 and Plan No. 1267 dated July 31, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee.

Trung Nam Renewable Energy Complex (Thuan Bac Commune).

The plan aims to specify the orientations for industrial and energy development, focusing on mobilizing and effectively using all resources, especially in the fields of renewable energy, clean energy and high-tech industry, contributing to the goal of rapid and sustainable growth. The province identifies this as one of the important pillars to promote economic restructuring, improve productivity, quality and competitiveness of Khanh Hoa in the new period.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has set out 14 key tasks, focusing on issuing policies to select and prioritize investment sectors in industrial parks, prioritize enterprises applying high technology, clean technology, and environmental friendliness; allocating budget resources for site clearance, creating clean land funds, attracting strategic investors; establishing a Provincial Investment Promotion Board as a focal point for promoting and attracting domestic and foreign enterprises. In addition, promoting the development of high-quality human resources to serve industrial parks, clusters and high-tech enterprises; strengthening international cooperation, attracting foreign experts, especially in the fields of science and technology, information technology, artificial intelligence and renewable energy.

Another important goal is to strive to fill 100% of the industrial land area in Ninh Thuy, Du Long, and Phuoc Nam industrial parks in 2026, and at the same time complete the selection of investors for Ninh Xuan Industrial Park (1,000 hectares), Ninh Diem 1 and 3 in 2025. Along with that, the province will issue a framework of criteria for selecting investors in industrial cluster infrastructure, strengthen supervision of wastewater treatment facilities in industrial parks and clusters to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The province will also speed up the progress of site clearance and resettlement to serve the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant Project; invest in power transmission infrastructure and connect to the national grid, ensure energy security, and promote training of renewable energy human resources and develop a project on an inter-regional renewable energy industrial - service center, submit it to the Prime Minister for approval in 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over, monitor, urge and synthesize implementation results; departments, branches and localities develop specific plans, report monthly before the 20th and report annually before November 20 every year.
