Highlights of the first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi

The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi is open to visitors for free on October 11 and 12, with many unique cultural and artistic activities.

“Culture has no borders, so the Hanoi World Cultural Festival is also a connection between the Vietnamese people and peoples around the world,” Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized at the opening ceremony of the first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi, which took place on the evening of October 10 at the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center – Hanoi (Thang Long Imperial Citadel).

From October 11 to 12, visitors can visit booths from many countries, explore the history, art, language, costumes and customs of each country; and participate in many attractive and unique activities.

The festival includes 45 cultural spaces of countries and 34 international culinary booths.

Visitors can visit booths from China, Korea, Japan, the United States, Russia, France, Iran, Angola, Laos, the Philippines..., discovering the characteristics of each country's history, art, language, costumes and customs.
