Vice President of Dong Nai University of Technology is in the top 10,000 most influential scientists in the world in 2025

(DN) - Elsevier (the world's leading academic and scientific publisher) has just announced a list of the world's most influential scientists in 2025. This list is based on citation data from Scopus (including information on scientific articles, books, conference proceedings and other peer-reviewed documents) up to the end of 2024.

According to this result, Vietnam has 9 scientists in the top 10,000 most influential scientists in the world. In the top 100,000, Vietnam has more than 70 scientists ranked. In addition, more than 20 foreign scientists working in Vietnam are also in the top 100,000.

Among the 9 Vietnamese scientists in the top 10,000 most influential scientists in the world , there is Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, currently Vice Principal of Dong Nai University of Technology (ranked 438 - highest in the group of 9 Vietnamese scientists).

The ranking of 100,000 influential scientists is based on the following impact indicators in the scientific community: total number of citations (excluding self-citations), Hirsch h-index, Schreiber hm-index, number of citations for articles as single author, first author, corresponding author and last author.

The list is classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields according to the Science-Metrix classification standard.
