Women of Tien Minh commune strive to help 9 families escape poverty

The Congress of Women's Delegates of Tien Minh Commune for the 2025 - 2030 term set a goal of helping 9 households with women escape poverty and multidimensional near-poverty.

The Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Tien Minh commune for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 39 comrades, was introduced to the Congress.

On the morning of October 10, the first Congress of women's representatives of Tien Minh commune, term 2025 - 2030 took place with the participation of 138 delegates representing more than 5,000 women members of the commune.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Congress set out goals, 3 breakthroughs and 4 key tasks. Each year, the association strives to help 9 households with women escape poverty and near-poverty in multiple dimensions; guide and support 1 business household owned by women to register to convert into an enterprise.

Strive for 90% of members to use banking applications in electronic payment transactions; register and carry out 1 project/work related to family building, improving cultural life, protecting the environment, preventing natural disasters, responding to climate change, promoting gender equality, contributing to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

In the 2021 - 2025 term, the Women's Union of Tien Minh commune completed and exceeded 9/9 targets set out in the resolution. Some of the targets exceeded were: poverty reduction, job support, member development and building creative models. The movement "Building Hai Phong women to be loyal - responsible - talented - creative" was widely deployed in conjunction with the Campaign to build "5 no 3 clean" families. The Union supported the construction and repair of 2 "Warm Houses of Love" houses and presented thousands of gifts...
