Di An Ward, HCMC: Continue to renovate spontaneous residential areas

On the morning of July 19, the delegation of People's Council of Di An ward continued to meet with voters of Thang Loi 1, Thang Loi 2, Binh Minh 1, Nhi Dong 1 neighborhoods and Dong Tan neighborhood before the 2nd session of the People's Council of Di An ward, term I, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the ward People's Council delegates informed voters about the expected time and agenda of the 2nd session of the Di An Ward People's Council, term I, 2021-2026, which will take place on July 31, 2025.

During the meeting, many voters expressed their opinions and recommendations related to local social security, focusing on the areas of urban order, environmental sanitation, traffic safety, etc.

Along with that, there are many opinions suggesting that the authorities form more public bus routes to serve people's travel needs, have policies to support people in converting their vehicles from using gasoline to using electricity to protect the environment, build funeral homes, etc.

At the voter meeting, delegates responded to the results of the functional sector's handling of voters' opinions and recommendations before implementing a two-level local government.

Voters' opinions were discussed and clarified by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Di An Ward, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy. According to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, the Party Committee and the government of Di An Ward always determine to take the people as the center of all activities.

Specifically, immediately after the merger, the ward requested the policy and was approved by the Ho Chi Minh City authorities to continue implementing Resolution 35 dated December 23, 2014 of the Di An City Party Committee (old) on leading the implementation of the renovation of spontaneous residential areas to grant certificates of land use rights and house ownership to households and individuals. as well as continuing to implement basic construction investment projects and urban beautification according to plan in the ward.
