Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward (new) completes preparations, ready for July 1st

After completing the pilot operation of the two-level local government model, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward (new) is ready for the announcement ceremony of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the city's decisions on the organization of new commune-level administrative units, taking place tomorrow, June 30.

On June 29, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward (new) is proactively and actively implementing the final preparations with a high sense of responsibility, ready for the official day of operating the apparatus from July 1.

Activities of arranging facilities, handing over documents, assigning tasks to officials, civil servants... have been basically completed by the locality. Environmental sanitation, landscape beautification, and festive decoration are being promoted to create a new, spacious, and modern appearance.

Chairman of the Dong Da District Party Committee's Inspection Committee Do Trong Nam (expected to be Secretary of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Party Committee), said: During the trial operation phase, the Standing Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Party Committee held many meetings to discuss and direct the implementation.

In particular, proactively implement the reception of (new) headquarters with the old ward unit to promptly supplement, install equipment, and operate related software to handle administrative procedures for people and businesses.

Key leaders of the ward regularly inspect, evaluate, and direct the removal of difficulties in facilities at the new administrative headquarters. On that basis, they agree on a plan to reasonably use the existing facilities, ensuring service to the people, without interruption or stagnation.

Currently, the ward's preparations have been completed: from handing over files and documents, renovating the headquarters, installing new nameplates, to arranging human resources and completing facilities. The administrative procedure system continues to operate stably, ensuring continuous and smooth service to the people and businesses.

Also this morning, the Women's Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward (new) organized a general environmental cleaning campaign on streets, residential areas, and public places in the area.

The launch attracted a large number of members and women from branches to participate with enthusiasm and responsibility, spreading the message "Green - clean - beautiful for a civilized and modern community".

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward (new) was merged from Kham Thien, Van Chuong, Tho Quan Wards (Dong Da); most of the natural area and population of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward (Dong Da); part of the area and population of the wards: Hang Bot, Nam Dong, Phuong Lien - Trung Tu (Dong Da); Dien Bien (Ba Dinh); Cua Nam (Hoan Kiem); Nguyen Du, Le Dai Hanh (Hai Ba Trung). The new administrative unit has a natural area of 1.92km ² . Population of 105,604 people.
