Based on the joint activity plan for October 2025, on the morning of October 18, the first Inter-ward Sports Congress of Xuan Hoa, Ban Co and Nhieu Loc in 2025 officially opened with 4 events including pickleball, tug of war, physical games and chess.
The remaining seven sports such as Muay, futsal, 3x3 basketball, 5x5 basketball, table tennis, swimming, and badminton will be held in November and December 2025, completing the congress program before the end of the year.
More than 100 players participate in the pickleball tournament of the 2025 Inter-ward Sports Congress
The regulations of the congress allow residents of the neighborhoods, representatives of departments, organizations, agencies, units and businesses located in the three wards to register to participate. The congress does not distinguish between professional levels but also does not encourage professional athletes to participate in this grassroots playground.
The competitions were extremely exciting.
The 1st Inter-ward Sports Congress in 2025 aims to respond to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", promote propaganda as well as create a profound change in the awareness of the whole society about the benefits of sports in improving people's and community health.
Awarding ceremony for mixed doubles under 35 years old
The earliest opening ceremony was on the morning of October 18 at Ho Xuan Huong Sports Club, with 56 men's and women's pairs participating in pickleball, competing in two age groups: under 35 and over 35. Nearly 100 matches took place in an exciting and professional atmosphere, lasting for more than 5 hours.
The couples achieved high rankings at the tournament.
