(VTC News) - The Chinese, Laotian, and Cambodian armies participated in a preliminary parade and marched with the Vietnamese army in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of April 25.

On the evening of April 25, the third general training session took place in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of the Vietnamese Army and the armies of China, Cambodia, and Laos.

The joint training session not only had the participation of Vietnamese forces but also marked the presence of international military units.

Notably, 118 Chinese military officers and soldiers arrived in Ho Chi Minh City this afternoon to participate in the parade.

In addition, the Lao army also sent many officers and soldiers to participate.

After training in Binh Duong , international forces joined forces with the Vietnamese army to prepare for the official ceremony.

The parade rehearsal took place after a heavy rain on the afternoon of April 25.

Participating in the parade rehearsal on the evening of April 25 were 48 parade groups, including the army, police and many other forces of the city.

This is the third training session in central Ho Chi Minh City, after more than 2 months of hard training by the forces in many different locations.

According to the forecast from the Southern and Central Highlands Hydrometeorological Station, from now until April 29, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region will have rain in the evening, while during the day it will be hot and sunny with temperatures ranging from 34 - 36 degrees Celsius.

From April 30 to May 3, the weather in the center of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring districts is forecast to be sunny during the day, but there is still a possibility of rain in the evening.

Faced with complex weather conditions, the forecasting unit recommends that the organizing committee needs to prepare carefully, from setting up tents to shelter from the rain, protecting electronic equipment, to ensuring emergency vehicles to promptly respond to arising situations.

People participating in outdoor activities are also advised to bring umbrellas or raincoats to avoid getting wet.

The parade on the morning of April 30 on Le Duan Street, District 1, will feature a 21-gun salute to the National Anthem, a welcome flyover by the air force, and marching by the army, police, militia, and the masses.
