The 'For the Poor' Fund at all levels has received 33.8 billion VND.

On the morning of December 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province held the 3rd conference, term XV, to summarize the Front's work in 2024 and discuss the coordination program and unify actions in 2025.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vo Thanh An and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference was Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh.

According to the report of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have effectively implemented the tasks in the 2024 Program of coordination and unified action. The activities of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have had many innovations in the direction of clarity, focus, efficiency, and grassroots orientation. Emulation movements and campaigns have been comprehensively deployed to union members, association members and all classes of people.

The “For the Poor” Fund at all levels has received 33.8 billion VND, of which 269 new Great Solidarity houses have been built and 83 houses have been repaired; 330 cases have been helped to develop production, 615 people have been examined for diseases; 1,785 poor students with especially difficult circumstances have been helped to excel in their studies. The launching ceremony to support people in the northern provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3 was held. Thereby, nearly 39.6 billion VND has been mobilized; funds have been promptly allocated to support the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh emphasized that in 2024, Quang Ngai achieved and exceeded 25/25 socio- economic targets compared to the plan. In that common effort and achievement, there were positive contributions from the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Minh commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels, member organizations and staff working on the front over the past year. In the coming time, Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Minh requested the Fatherland Front and its member organizations to focus on thoroughly disseminating to all cadres, party members, union members and association members the summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee "Some issues to continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient".
