Donate and support local people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

On the afternoon of October 8, in Hanoi, the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies launched a fundraising campaign to support local people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies Nguyen Long Hai, together with leaders, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies participated in supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods; especially storm No. 10, storm No. 11 and the floods after the storms that caused heavy losses in human lives and property in localities in the Northern and North Central regions.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies Nguyen Long Hai emphasized that the contributions not only have material value but are also an extremely valuable source of spiritual encouragement, helping people in flood-hit areas gain more confidence and determination to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production. This is also an opportunity for each cadre and party member to show responsibility, love and sharing with their fellow countrymen - which has become a beautiful identity of our nation.

On this occasion, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies shared information that recently, in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , 14/14 agencies and units in the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies launched a campaign to donate and support each cadre, civil servant and worker with at least one day's salary.

Comrade Nguyen Long Hai called on all cadres, civil servants and employees of Party Committees of Central Party agencies to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, take the lead in social and humanitarian activities, and support people in disaster-stricken areas, join hands and contribute with the most concrete and practical actions, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity, solidarity and mutual assistance throughout society.
