Launching KIA Carnival Hybrid 2026, from over 2 billion VND in Thailand

KIA has officially introduced the upgraded Carnival HEV Hybrid model in the Thai market. This is a large 7-seat MPV model, imported from Malaysia.

The Korean car company has officially introduced the upgraded version of the Kia Carnival HEV Hybrid 2026 in the Thai market. This is a large 7-seat MPV, imported from Malaysia, positioned in the high-end segment with a price range of 2,499,000 - 2,699,000 baht (equivalent to about 2 - 2.2 billion VND).

Both versions are covered by KIA Sales Thailand's comprehensive warranty policy, including: 7-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, 8-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, 3-year or 30,000 km free maintenance (old customers and family can upgrade to 5 years or 50,000 km), 24/7 rescue support for 7 years, free insurance for the first year and preferential interest rate of 1.77%.

In terms of design, the Carnival HEV is 5,155 mm long, 1,995 mm wide, 1,785 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,090 mm, in the same segment as competitors such as the Zeekr 009, Xpeng X9, Denza D9, or MG Maxus 9.

The exterior features a “tiger nose” grille, cube-shaped LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels and electric sliding doors on both sides. The Luxury version has a dual sunroof, adding more ventilation to the cabin.

Standard equipment on the 2026 Kia Carnival HEV Hybrid Premium version includes: LED headlights, electric sliding doors on both sides, smart electric trunk, 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interior space is arranged with 7 seats in a 2+2+3 format, with second-row business seats that can recline, stretch legs electrically and have one-touch relaxation mode. In the Premium version, the second row of seats can be rotated or removed, while the last row of seats can be folded flat to expand the cargo compartment.

The cockpit features a monolithic curved screen, including a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch entertainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. There is also an 11-inch HUD, 12-speaker BOSE sound (Luxury version), 64-color interior ambient lighting, wireless charging, 6 USB-C ports and 3-zone automatic air conditioning.

KIA's highest standard safety system with 8 airbags and ADAS package, including automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, 360-degree camera, and many advanced driver assistance features.

The car uses a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.6L T-GDi gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 245 horsepower and a maximum torque of 367 Nm. The car comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, and an average fuel consumption of 15.9 km/liter as announced.

The regenerative braking system has 3 levels to help save energy. In addition, the car is also equipped with a series of modern operating support technologies such as E-Handling, E-Ride and E-Evasive Handling Assist, providing a more stable, smooth and safe driving experience.

In the Thai market, the 2026 Carnival Hybrid is offered in four exterior colors: Snow Flake White Pearl, Jet Black, Meteor Grey and Astra Blue, with two interior options: black (Premium) or black - brown (Luxury).
