Snake returns to "play big" right on the address bar
The legendary 90s Snake game has been uniquely revived, allowing players to control the snake directly on the browser's address bar.

Programmer Demian Ferreiro has delighted the community by reviving the snake game by making it run right in the address bar. The version called URL Snake simulates the original gameplay even though the display space is only a few characters. (Photo: Pokne.net)
Every move is pixel-precise, bringing back the familiar “frustration” feeling of days spent hunched over on Nokia phones. What's amazing is that the entire game is written in less than 400 lines of JavaScript.
Ferreiro uses Unicode Braille characters for graphical effects, making the game smooth even when displayed in a narrow URL bar. However, players should pay attention because the game will quickly "flood" the browsing history with hundreds of addresses generated during the move. On Chrome, these items can be deleted with just a quick filter, and other browsers also support similar features. (Photo: ithome)
