Khanh Hoa - Dak Lak comprehensive cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism

On the afternoon of October 8, at Champa Island Nha Trang Tourist Area, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DTC) of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces held a conference to sign a cooperation agreement on developing the culture, sports and tourism sector for the period 2026 - 2030. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Khanh Hoa province; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces; and more than 130 delegates representing agencies, units, associations and enterprises of the two provinces.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces have signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development. In the period of 2026 - 2030, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in the fields of culture, sports and tourism with the following contents: Exchange and coordination in organizing art performances; participating in organizing cultural, fine arts and book exhibitions; supporting communication to promote unique cultural features; participating in sports competitions organized by the two provinces; creating conditions for teams of the two provinces to participate in training and competitions. Along with that, agree to build and implement a cooperation plan to develop tourism products with the characteristics of each locality; regularly provide information on tourist destinations, tourism products, new tourism programs; tourism businesses cooperate to build connecting tourism products; exchange information on policies to attract investment in tourism development, planning, plans to promote, advertise and develop tourism; Coordinate the organization of survey programs, conferences, seminars to promote and develop tourism; support training of tourism human resources; cooperate in technology application and digital transformation...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Long Bien acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation results of the two provinces achieved in recent years, and assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province to proactively coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province to research and implement the contents of cooperation to comprehensively develop the culture, sports and tourism sectors in accordance with the new situation. Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and Ninh Thuan Tourism Association preside over and coordinate with tourism businesses in the province to participate in promoting and introducing tourism connection programs, cultural, sports and tourism events of Dak Lak province to tourists. Tourism businesses of the two localities need to proactively innovate and improve the quality of tourism products in the province... so that the cooperation between the two localities is substantive, with specific products.
