Workshop to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions on land is coming soon

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Ministry of Justice will coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to organize a workshop "Identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions related to the land sector" on September 22 in Hanoi.

The workshop was organized in a combination of in-person and online formats with 34 localities across the country, and broadcast live on the National Law Portal platform (address: phapluat.gov.vn).

The workshop was chaired by leaders of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Also attending were experts, prestigious scientists, economists; representatives of professional associations, the business community, law practice organizations, etc.

The workshop aimed to identify policy and institutional bottlenecks and difficulties in the implementation of land law, thereby seeking and selecting breakthrough solutions to ensure that land law is increasingly improved, synchronized, transparent, feasible, effective and efficient.

This is a meaningful activity in the current period, especially in the context that the Party and State have been strongly directing the amendment and supplementation of the Land Law and are expected to submit it to the National Assembly at the upcoming 10th Session.

Besides, the Land Law is considered a fundamental and important law related to all socio -economic activities and has a key relationship with other laws of the economy such as: Law on Planning; Law on Urban and Rural Planning; Law on Investment.

The workshop is also a step to concretize the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the working session on September 18, 2025 with the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on major orientations in amending and perfecting the Land Law, in which the General Secretary emphasized the need to clear bottlenecks with breakthrough solutions in this field.

At the workshop, experts, practitioners, and representatives of the business community will share and speak about the content of institutional policies and the process of implementing and applying the current land law. Thereby, the agency in charge of drafting the Land Law (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) will have discussions and explanations to reach a consensus, clarify existing bottlenecks, and identify solutions to remove bottlenecks in this field.
