Students with the highest graduation scores in the school's 40-year history

New graduate Vu Nguyen Anh Thu graduated as valedictorian of the high-quality law program, achieving the title of excellent student of the entire course at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

With a graduation score of 9.21 on a 10-point scale (3.75/4), Thu is the person with the highest graduation score ever at this school.

Sharing at the graduation ceremony, Anh Thu said that after a 4-year journey of training with many challenges, she understood better than anyone the value of a university degree.

It is a worthy achievement for the tireless efforts of each student; and also the hard work and dedication of the teachers. The diploma also bears the mark of the sweat of the parents' unconditional sacrifice and thrift.

For Thu, a bachelor's degree is a proud proof, but it is only the completion of the "warm-up" stage. However, the new graduate believes that with effort and equipped skills, she and other students will continue to improve themselves after graduation.

At the 2024 regular bachelor's graduation ceremony held on August 18 at Military Zone 7 gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law awarded degrees to 1,454 regular students.

According to information from the school, out of 1,454 graduates, only 10 students were classified as excellent, 252 students were classified as good, and 1,142 students were classified as fair.

Among the students attending the graduation ceremony, 31.5% of students had jobs before deciding to graduate; 21.2% of new graduates continued to enroll in higher education.

Dr. Le Truong Son, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said that to reach this journey, students must demonstrate determination and effort for more than 4 years. Looking back at the journey they have overcome and the results they have achieved, it can be said that the students are very worthy and should be proud of themselves.
