Disabled female student receives full scholarship, continues her university dream

A female student with hemiplegia due to encephalitis received a full scholarship from Duy Tan University to continue her dream of going to university.

On September 24, Duy Tan University held the opening ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year and welcomed new students.

Duy Tan University awards nearly 6 billion VND in scholarships to new students entering the new school year

At the opening ceremony, the school honored and awarded full scholarships to valedictorian Nguyen Ngoc Diem Quynh (majoring in multimedia communications, scoring 28.55/30 points) and two runners-up Phan Thi My Hau (majoring in Troy Tourism & Hotel Management, scoring 27.43/30 points) and Phan Thao Vi (majoring in multimedia communications, scoring 27.34/30 points).

In the 2025 enrollment season, Duy Tan University has granted the first batch of more than 5.76 billion VND in full and partial scholarships, support scholarships to school, and many other scholarships for newly admitted students.

Notably, at the opening ceremony, Duy Tan University awarded a full scholarship of 100% of tuition to Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, a female student with disabilities due to Japanese encephalitis. Overcoming the difficulties of having to suffer from paralysis of nearly half of her body, Minh Thuy has made constant efforts to continue her dream of entering university and studying English, which she has always wanted.
