From the very first set, world No. 2 Sinner quickly took the lead. He broke Alcaraz's serve in the opening game and maintained the lead. Although the Spaniard tried to reduce the score, Sinner maintained his form, earning another break in the fifth game. With Alcaraz's backhand going wide, Sinner took a 4-1 lead and easily finished the first set 6-2.

In the second set, Alcaraz adjusted and started better, holding the first serve game. The two players struggled in the first games. However, in the fifth game, Alcaraz was under great pressure when he was down 15-40 and had to save five break points. Although he succeeded in this game, he could not repeat the same in the next service game, allowing Sinner to break again and lead 4-3.

With a strong serve advantage, the Italian confidently approached victory. Dropping only one point in the next two service games, Sinner won the second set 6-4 and sealed the overall victory after 73 minutes of competition.

Alcaraz did not hesitate to praise his opponent's class: "When Jannik plays at this level, everything is always difficult. I think everyone can enjoy the level of tennis he played today. It was really a very high level."

He likened Sinner’s game to “playing ping pong”, admitting that “being on the other side of the net is not fun”. However, that is what motivates Alcaraz to try harder: “When he plays such great tennis, it gives me more motivation to go to the practice court, to give my all to face him, to try to play better. Sometimes he is quite annoying, but at the same time it gives me more motivation”.

Beyond the rivalry, Alcaraz emphasized the special friendship between the two: “We have a special friendship off the court, which is great. Sometimes people think that when two players compete for great things, give their all on the court, they can’t have a great friendship. I think we prove that too.”

Sinner agrees with Alcaraz: “It’s great to have rivals. We have fierce competition. But we also have a special friendship.”

The Italian expressed his admiration for Alcaraz: “First of all, it was great to share the court with Carlos. He did a great job all season, worked very hard, won incredible titles, one after another. Actually, thank you for leaving one for me now!”

The Six Kings Slam tournament has attracted a lot of attention for its attractive prize money. All six players participating, including Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev, received a guaranteed sum of $1.5 million. For his victory, Sinner received an additional $4.5 million, along with a golden racket that is said to be worth about $250,000.

Earlier, in the third-place match, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic unexpectedly retired from the match against American Taylor Fritz. Djokovic shook hands with Fritz after losing the first set in a tense 75-minute tie-break. This was the first time Fritz had won against Djokovic in 11 previous encounters.
