Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan was appointed Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

(Dan Tri) - Before being elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan held the positions of Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises and Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of October 20, the People's Council of Lang Son province, term XVII, 2021-2026, held the 41st session (special session) to elect the positions of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Lang Son Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh emphasized that the meeting is important for perfecting personnel in the local government apparatus.

The officials recommended for election to the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee are carefully selected officials with strong political will, good qualities and ethics, capacity and practical experience, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the current period.

The People's Council of Lang Son province heard the introduction of Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, to be elected to the position of Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021-2026.

With 44/46 votes in agreement from the attending delegates (reaching 95.65%), Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan was elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan was born in 1976, Kinh ethnic group, hometown Nghe An province; Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Senior in Political Theory.

Before being elected as Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan held positions such as: Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Deputy Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Lang Son province listened to the introductions and elected the positions of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Specifically, with 43/46 votes in agreement from attending delegates (reaching 93.47%), Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen was elected Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Lang Son province.

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen was born in 1973, Tay ethnic group; Master's degree in Philosophy, Advanced degree in political theory.

Before being elected Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Lang Son province for the 2021-2026 term, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen held the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

With 44/46 votes in favor of the attending delegates (reaching 95.65%), Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc was elected Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc, born in 1977, Tay ethnic group; Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Economics (Business Administration), Senior in Political Theory.

Before being elected Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc held the position of Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Council.

With 43/46 votes in favor of the attending delegates (reaching 93.47%), Ms. Tran Thanh Nhan was elected Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee.

Ms. Tran Thanh Nhan was born in 1982, Kinh ethnicity; Master of Business Administration, Senior Political Theory.

Before being elected Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, Ms. Tran Thanh Nhan held the position of Secretary of the Chi Lang Commune Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan thanked the People's Council of Lang Son province for trusting him to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province for the 2021-2026 term. This is an honor and a great responsibility.

He promised to strive with the Provincial People's Committee to unite, inherit experience, face difficulties and challenges, and unanimously carry out successfully the tasks in the new period.
