At the same time, experts and representatives of specialized departments of the Department of Science and Technology also exchanged, discussed and answered recommendations and proposals of enterprises in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation activities.
Also at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Department of Science and Technology directly awarded the Certificate of registration of science and technology activities to Dong Trieu Mineral Processing Research and Technology Transfer Center. At the same time, commended 3 typical enterprises and 5 individuals in IP and innovation activities in Quang Ninh province in the period of 2021-2025.
The conference is a practical activity to spread awareness, connect ideas, and promote action throughout society, especially in the business community, universities, and colleges in Quang Ninh province.
In his closing speech at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology emphasized: In the context that Quang Ninh province is resolutely implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation (ST&CT) of the Politburo (Resolution No. 57), the role of IP is becoming increasingly important. It is not only a legal tool to protect creative achievements, but also a driving force to promote innovation, improve the competitiveness of enterprises, localities and the country. To promote IP activities in the province, it is necessary to have the active participation of enterprises and Departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province.
The Department of Science and Technology will continue to accompany, support and create the most favorable conditions for organizations, businesses, universities and creative individuals to develop innovative ideas, protect intellectual property, protect legitimate rights, build the province's innovation ecosystem to be increasingly dynamic, effective, sustainable and contribute to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57./.
