1-1 draw between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 last season
After holding Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge, Crystal Palace will be looking to give their fans another reason to celebrate when they host Nottingham Forest in their first home game of the season.
Having seen Chelsea crush West Ham this week, pundits had to acknowledge how excellent Crystal Palace were to hold the Blues to a draw last week. The home side have no further injuries, with Nketiah, Kamada and Doucoure all still in the recovery room. However, manager Oliver Glasner will be without striker Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal yesterday.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest will be looking to build on their 3-1 win over Brentford. Forest will continue to rely on experienced striker Chris Wood, who scored twice in the opening game of the season. The visitors are expected to be at full strength, with Nicolas Dominguez the only player still unavailable.
Most experts predict a draw, with former players Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton both picking a 1-1 scoreline. Gary Lineker commented: "Forest played very well last season, as did Palace. I believe in Palace's momentum. It will be 2-1."
Prediction: Crystal Palace – Nottingham Forest 1-0
Direct confrontation
The two teams have met 69 times from the First Division to the Second Division and the FA Cup, in which Crystal Palace won 16 matches, drew 23 and lost 30 matches.

Crystal Palace have failed to beat Nottingham Forest in 15 home and away games. Their last win was in 2008 (2-0) away. Their last win at Selhurst Park was in 2003 (1-0).
However, with home advantage, Palace must accept half a coin, for selection. The market is of course all underdogs and this morning Palace still accepts half a coin but Nottingham's price is only 8. Anyway, with current form, choosing the home team is more secure.
The most popular score is still 1-1 with a bet price of only 6.7, while 0-0 pays up to 10, and 2-2 pays up to 15. However, many people still believe in the home team's victory, so the score of 1-0 has a bet price of 7.5, while 2-1 pays up to 8.8 and 2-0 pays up to 11. Those who support Nottingham Forest can also choose the score of 1-0 with a price of 9.2, and 2-1 pays up to 11.
