Call Center 112: Receive information about incidents, natural disasters, and catastrophes

On September 15, 2025, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 2023/QD-TTg on using the 112 phone number to receive information about incidents, natural disasters, catastrophes, risks, and requests for assistance from organizations and individuals according to the provisions of Decree No. 200/2025/ND-CP of the Government; at the same time, Decision No. 2024/QD-TTg promulgating the Regulations on the use of the 112 phone number.

Switchboard 112 is located at the Standing Office of the Civil Defense Command of provinces and centrally-run cities (Provincial Military Command) to receive and process information, operating 24/7 nationwide; organizations and individuals are exempted from charges for fixed-line, mobile, text and multimedia calls to Switchboard 112.

Organizations and individuals providing information about incidents, natural disasters, catastrophes and search and rescue only need to call 112 to be directly connected to the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command for timely reception, support and handling.
