At the Thang Long Avenue service road leading to the inner city and towards Hoa Lac - the intersection with Thien Duong Bao Son, the road surface, although restored after the drainage project, is very uneven and bumpy. The large patches are not consistent with the old road surface.

The gravel from the road surface is scattered, causing danger to vehicles. The road also becomes dusty because of that.

Many areas are bumpy and have wheel tracks.

On Nguyen Thai Hoc Street (Ba Dinh District), the road surface was dug up and resurfaced in many places, however the damage is still more severe.

The place is patched up and uneven, each place has a different style, making it difficult for vehicles to move through.

A series of "buffalo backs" and "scraping trenches" stretched for kilometers.

Cau Giay Street, one of the main radial arteries of Hanoi Capital, is also in a similar situation.

Not only is it not as flat as the old road surface, but there are also many traps on the road, and many accidents have occurred here.

This situation also appears on Yen Phu street (Tay Ho district). The new carpet area and the old road surface are different, the joints are full of gravel.

With the naked eye, you can see that the newly patched road surface is much higher than the old road surface.

The overlapping construction between many units is causing the road surfaces of many streets in Hanoi to be continuously cut, patched, and uneven, making the urban landscape become shabby and making passersby feel insecure.

The Regulations on the management of construction and restoration of road traffic infrastructure in Hanoi issued in 2023 clearly state: "For the construction of essential works and structures, when restored, the quality conditions must be equal to or better than the original road structure". However, in reality, the restoration of the site after construction in many places does not ensure quality, affecting the safety of people traveling through these routes every day.
