According to Gaming Bolt , Capcom recently announced that Street Fighter 6 sales have surpassed the 2 million mark since its official release. Along with this good news, the publisher has provided a reward for all players, which is a "small token" when logging into the game.
As the successor to Street Fighter 5 which was released in 2016, the latest game has returned and achieved impressive sales with over 1 million copies in less than the first week of release.
Street Fighter 6 has sold over 2 million copies
Capcom expects Street Fighter 6 to sell over 10 million copies over its lifetime, surpassing the success of its predecessor, which sold over 7 million copies over its lifetime. If sales continue to be solid, the new title could hit its target sooner than expected.
Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. The game includes 18 characters, a new Story Mode called World Tour, and a Battle Hub mode that acts as a lobby for online matches.
There's good news for Street Fighter 6 fans as the first expansion character named Rashid will be arriving in the game on July 24, alongside AKI, Ed, and Akuma who will be arriving as part of the Year 1 Pass.
