Ho Chi Minh City artists support damage recovery caused by storm No. 10

On the morning of October 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City received the first batch of nearly 300 million VND from many artists of the city, to support overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Faced with the devastation caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi), through the connection between the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Ho Chi Minh City, many artists of the city... quickly went to the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to send their condolences to the affected people.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Hong An was moved to acknowledge and appreciate the sentiments of artists, units, businesses, groups and individuals. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city will quickly transfer the money to the people of the affected provinces, contributing to supporting people to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives...

“We hope to be a solid bridge for agencies, units and artists to send their hearts, accompany and support people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods. Hopefully, the spirit of mutual love and support of the Vietnamese people will continue to spread,” said Mr. Phan Hong An.

At the reception, in addition to the pre-registered donations; artists also donated on the spot. The organizing committee received 291.8 million VND in donations.
