Traffic police promptly assisted people bitten by snakes to get to the emergency room.

QTO - On the morning of October 1, information from Quang Tri General Hospital said that patient NVH (64 years old), residing in Liem Cong Tay village, Cua Tung commune, Quang Tri province, is now conscious after being taken to the emergency room here due to a snake bite.

Previously, at around 7:30 pm on September 30, Mr. NVH was gardening near the forest when he was bitten by a venomous snake. In a state of panic, he was given first aid by people around him and called for help.

At the same time, a working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police on duty nearby received the information and immediately moved to the scene of the accident.

Afterwards, Mr. NVH was taken to the provincial General Hospital by a specialized traffic police vehicle, more than 30km from where the victim was bitten by the snake.

Currently, Mr. NVH is being treated at the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department with stable health and consciousness.
