On the morning of October 12, the weather in Binh Duong province was cool, pleasant, and sunny. In the early morning, the Thu Dau Mot city area was covered in fog, creating a beautiful urban scene.

According to information from the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the last 3 months of 2024, the Northeast monsoon will completely replace the Southwest monsoon in the South. There will be a transition from the rainy season to the dry season in this region. The rainy season in 2024 is likely to end later than the average of many years, only about 5-10 days.

November and December are the months when the Northeast monsoon becomes stronger, the weather is dry but there is still the possibility of widespread unseasonal rain, with rainfall ranging from light to moderate.

The cold air will increase, causing temperatures in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces to drop below 20 degrees Celsius in the second half of December this year.

During the period from October to December, cold air continuously strengthens in the region but the average temperature still tends to be higher than the average of many years.

During the first half of October, some days are quite hot, with the highest noon temperature being 34 degrees Celsius or above.

The second half of November has cool weather at night and early morning with lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius.

In December, the average temperature is close to and above the multi-year average. The cooling spells caused by the cold front can see the lowest temperature drop below 20 degrees Celsius in the second half of the month.
