According to the flood warning bulletin on Buoi River No. DBLU-38/15h30/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, at 7:00 p.m. on August 26, the water level on Buoi River at Kim Tan hydrological station was +11.66m (0.34m below alarm level III).
Warning: Water level downstream on Buoi River at Kim Tan hydrological station is likely to reach alarm level III (+12m) at 1-3am on August 27.
The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a third alert on the Buoi River at the Kim Tan hydrological station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Tay Do, Vinh Loc, Kim Tan, and Thach Binh communes to continue to patrol, guard, and protect the dike according to the alert level. Organize inspections, reviews, and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key weak dike points and culverts across the dike in the area. Proactively deploy plans to evacuate people living in the riverbank area. Organize a 24/7 duty, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour; promptly inform and report to the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Command Office and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
