Vietnam Fire Prevention and Rescue Association: Paying tribute to the brave actions of comrade Phan Van Thanh

A working delegation of the Vietnam Fire Prevention and Fighting (PCCC) and Rescue Association (CNCH) recently coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police to pay tribute and visit the family of comrade Phan Van Thanh in Xuan Ha 1 hamlet, Thanh Cong commune.

The working delegation of the Vietnam Fire Prevention and Rescue Association visited and presented gifts to the family of comrade Phan Van Thanh.

Previously, at around 7:30 a.m. on October 1, in Xuan Ha 1 hamlet, Thanh Cong commune, due to the impact of storm No. 10, three children were swept away by the water. Comrade Phan Van Thanh, head of the security and order protection force at the grassroots level, along with two nearby residents, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung and Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, did not fear the danger and jumped into the water to save them. After bringing the children to shore, due to the deep water, Comrade Thanh was exhausted and was swept away.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Do Tung Cuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fire Prevention and Rescue Association, announced the Decision to recognize the brave action of comrade Phan Van Thanh. The Association presented his family with 20 million VND in support, expressing sympathy and gratitude for the great loss.

Mr. Nguyen Do Tung Cuong awarded Certificates of Merit from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Association to two citizens Nguyen Van Doan and Nguyen Van Dung.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fire Prevention and Rescue Association expressed gratitude and presented gifts to two citizens Nguyen Van Doan and Nguyen Van Dung, who participated in the rescue work with comrade Phan Van Thanh.
