
In Tay Ninh, the work of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia during the war has always been of interest, leadership and direction to the Provincial Steering Committee 515, from the development and implementation of plans; directing functional branches and localities to step up propaganda, coordinate with socio- political organizations and mobilize people to provide information on martyrs' graves.
According to the Steering Committee 515 of Tay Ninh province, during the dry season of 2024 - 2025, Team K70 was assigned to organize searches and collections in the two provinces of Tboung Khmum and Kam Pong Cham (Cambodia). Team K71 was assigned to organize searches and collections domestically and in the three provinces of Seam Reap, Ban Teay Mean Chey and Ot Do Mean Chey (Cambodia). Team K73 was assigned to organize searches and collections domestically and in the Special Military Region, the provinces of Svay Rieng, Battambang and Pailin (Cambodia). With a spirit of solidarity, high unity, and determination to overcome all difficulties and hardships, Teams K70, K71 and K73 searched for and collected 490 sets of martyrs' remains (reaching more than 180% of the target).
Through 24 stages of collecting martyrs' remains from 2001 to present, Tay Ninh province has collected 8,627 sets of martyrs' remains (including 8,621 individual graves and 6 mass graves with about 280 remains); 282 martyrs' remains have known names and addresses. The work of concluding the area, creating a map to search and collect martyrs' remains in the first phase in 2025 has been completed at 3 levels: commune, district, and province (before the merger).

At the conference, leaders of provincial departments, branches, and border wards and communes made many proposals related to organizing handover ceremonies, memorial services, and burial of martyrs' remains; paying attention to and ensuring timely and full policies for the forces on duty....
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee 515 of Tay Ninh province Pham Tan Hoa said: Up to now, after the end of phase XXIV, there are still 139 graves in 139 locations in the provinces of Kompongcham, Tboung Khmum, Siem Riep, Benteay Meanchey, Oddor Meanchey, Svay Rieng, Battambang, Pailin (Cambodia), it is expected to collect 318 martyrs' remains. Currently, Team K71 and K73 are still organizing the search and collection of martyrs' remains.
Mr. Pham Tan Hoa assigned the Provincial Military Command and the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 to proactively develop an implementation plan, closely coordinate with the Specialized Committees of Cambodian units in the process of performing the task; unify the coordination plan to create the best favorable conditions for the 3 teams in the process of performing the task in Cambodia. The unit develops a plan to perform specific tasks for each year and each period; Teams K70, K71, K73 proactively prepare human resources, equipment, and are ready to complete the assigned tasks well.
Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa requested units to urgently coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Home Affairs and relevant agencies to develop a plan for the Departure Ceremony, assigning tasks to teams to carry out the mission of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese martyrs who died in Cambodia and bringing them back to the country in the first phase, phase XXV (dry season 2025 - 2026).
