Visit and celebrate Easter 2024

The delegation visited and congratulated the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in the province.

At the places visited, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, briefly informed about the socio-economic situation of the province in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. Notably, in 2023, Binh Thuan successfully organized the National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", creating a positive effect on promoting tourism, attracting domestic and foreign investors and tourists, promoting the socio-economic development of the province. The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2023 increased by 8.1% compared to 2022, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities.

The political security situation and social order and safety in Binh Thuan province are maintained stable, social security activities are well implemented, contributing to improving people's lives. In the general achievements of the province, there are positive contributions from Protestant compatriots.

On the occasion of Easter 2024, Mr. Dang Hong Sy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, presented flower baskets and gifts and wished pastors, ministries and Protestant followers in the whole province a joyful, peaceful and happy Easter 2024. At the same time, he emphasized that with their role and prestige, pastors and ministries will continue to work with Party committees, authorities and the Fatherland Front to encourage Protestant followers to continue promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, joining hands to build the homeland of Binh Thuan to become more and more developed and prosperous.

Pastor Nguyen Van Hoang, Head of the Provincial Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South), thanked the attention and active support of the leaders of Binh Thuan province in the past time so that the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) can operate in accordance with the law. In the coming time, the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) will continue to mobilize Protestants to preserve and further promote the spirit of national solidarity, comply with the Party's policies and the State's regulations, and actively contribute to the development of the locality.
