Right after the opening whistle, the U.20 Vietnam women's team showed their determination to win all 3 points to get a ticket to the final round of the 2024 AFC U.20 Women's Championship with one round left. However, the U.20 Lebanon women's team proved that they are not an easy opponent to bully when they deployed a tight playing style and caused many difficulties for the Vietnamese girls.

It was not until the 33rd minute that the U.20 Vietnam women's team was able to make the opponent's net shake. From a corner kick on the right wing, captain Le Thi Bao Tram chose the right position and jumped high to head the ball dangerously, leaving the goalkeeper of the U.20 Lebanon women's team helpless. Minh Chuyen scored two goals

Just 2 minutes later, Le Thi Trang skillfully dribbled the ball in the penalty area before assisting Minh Chuyen to score, raising the score to 3-0 and completing the double. This was also the final score of the match.

Captain Le Bao Tram shines

In the previous match, the Australian U20 women's team easily won against Iran U20 with a score of 3-0. With this result, the Australian U20 women's team (top of the group with 6 points, goal difference +8) and the Vietnamese U20 women's team (second in the group with 6 points, goal difference +4) entered the final round of the 2024 AFC U20 Women's Championship held in Uzbekistan.

Thus, the final match of the second qualifying round will be decisive for the first and second place in the group between the U.20 Vietnam women's team and the U.20 Australia women's team (at 7:00 p.m. on June 7). At 4:00 p.m., there will be a clash between the two eliminated teams, the U.20 Iran women's team and the U.20 Lebanon women's team.
