Thanh Ha has 4 new commune-level administrative units

On the morning of November 13, Thanh Ha district held a conference to announce Resolution No. 1250 dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Hai Duong province for the period 2023-2025.

According to the Resolution, Thanh Ha district arranged 8 commune-level administrative units into 4 new units, reducing 4 communes.

Specifically, Thanh Thuy commune merged with Thanh Xa to form Thanh Tan commune, with headquarters located in the old Thanh Thuy commune.

Vinh Lap commune merged with Thanh Cuong to form Vinh Cuong commune, headquarters in the old Thanh Cuong commune.

Cam Che commune merged with Viet Hong to form Cam Viet commune, headquarters in the old Cam Che commune.

Thanh Khe commune merged into Thanh Ha town, headquartered in Thanh Ha town. Thanh Khe commune will focus on reviewing, making records, and renaming villages into residential areas.

The old Thanh Khe commune headquarters was converted to a kindergarten, the old Thanh Xa and Viet Hong commune headquarters were converted into commune police offices, and the Vinh Lap commune headquarters was converted to a primary school.

After the merger, Thanh Ha district has 135 cadres and civil servants who must be rearranged and reassigned (73 cadres, 62 civil servants). The work of arranging and reassigning jobs for cadres after the merger of administrative units is carried out by Thanh Ha district according to Instruction No. 10-HD/BTCTU dated January 31, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee on the arrangement of organizational apparatus, cadres, civil servants and non-professional workers when implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period 2023-2025.
