Ho Chi Minh City: Displaying many national strategic technology products

Nearly 30 booths with more than 650 products and solutions belonging to 11 strategic technology groups from leading corporations and enterprises, contributing to the formation of a smart, modern city.

From October 13-15, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with other units to organize the Exhibition "National Strategic Technology Products in Ho Chi Minh City."

This is the exhibition space to welcome the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030 with the theme " Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - Confidently and firmly entering the new era, the era of national growth."

The exhibition gathered nearly 30 booths with more than 650 products and solutions belonging to 11 strategic technology groups. These are advanced technologies and solutions from leading corporations and enterprises, contributing to the formation of a smart, modern city.

In the fields of information technology, electronics, AI and IoT, enterprises such as CMC , Viettel, QTSC, Mobifone introduced AI ecosystems, digital transformation platforms, cybersecurity solutions, administrative robots, smart kiosks and advanced Edge AI cameras.

The smart healthcare and biomedical equipment sector showcases the da Vinci Xi surgical robot system, the Modus V Synaptive robot with AI applications, and IoT-integrated healthcare and vaccine solutions.

The exhibition introduces semiconductor chip, robot, automation, smart energy products from the City High-Tech Park, Nextwaves and VB Tech; green technology, new materials and smart agriculture from ALTA Group, Net Zero 2050 eco-industrial park, VSIP, Eastern International University-Becamex IDC and Unifarm.

The digital banking, blockchain, and STEM education group brings modern STEM education and robotics models, inspiring creativity to the young generation and the business community.

CT Group Corporation introduced a series of strategic technology solutions "Make in Vietnam", especially the line of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Notable are the VTOL 4.4m, a fixed-wing UAV line capable of vertical take-off and landing, 4.4m wingspan, 10kg payload, flight ceiling up to 3,000m, speed 110-145 km/h and operating time 180 minutes; Hexarotor Firefighting UAV, a CT UAV firefighting aircraft squadron specializing in automatic firefighting in small alleys and high-rise buildings; CT-Spectral 12kg, UAV applied in smart agriculture in the 4.0 era...

CT Group representative informed that CT UAV is currently one of the very few Vietnamese enterprises capable of fully developing and mastering 6 core technology groups in the UAV industry, including electronics and microchip technology, artificial intelligence technology, control and autonomous technology, composite material technology, battery technology, and security and telecommunications technology.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology said that in the 2021-2025 period, the City recorded impressive results, affirming its economic role and leading innovation center in the country and region.

The digital economy is the main growth driver, expected to contribute 25% to GRDP in 2025, contributing about 59% to total factor productivity (TFP), and forecast to continue to play a leading role in growth over the next 5 years.

Ho Chi Minh City ranked 2nd in the country in both the Provincial Digital Transformation Index and the Local Innovation Index (PII). The City’s innovative startup ecosystem was recognized as 5th in Southeast Asia and 110th globally.

Notably, the City is in the world's Top 30 in Blockchain technology, demonstrating its ability to stay ahead of advanced technology trends. The foundation for these achievements comes from the internal strength of the business community, with the rate of businesses with innovative activities reaching an average of 37.8%.

In the 2025-2030 period, Ho Chi Minh City sets a strategic goal of becoming an international innovation center, with the digital economy accounting for 30-40% of GRDP and total factor productivity (TFP) contributing 60% to growth.

The city will focus on three key breakthrough solutions such as mechanisms, policies and investment attraction; focusing on strategic technology, innovation ecosystem; digital governance, digital human resources./.
