Tam Diep City awarded OCOP certificates to 13 products

On the afternoon of November 20, Tam Diep City People's Committee held a conference to summarize the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program and awarded certificates to products recognized as OCOP products in 2023.

Implementing the program "One Commune One Product", Tam Diep City People's Committee has promoted propaganda work to localities, organizations, enterprises, cooperatives and people in the area with many diverse and rich forms, thereby contributing to raising awareness of all people about the purpose, meaning and importance of the OCOP Program.

In 2023, the city coordinated with the province's interdisciplinary food safety inspection team and organized the city's team to inspect 6 entities with 10 OCOP products that were evaluated and recognized.

As a result, the inspection facilities have basically complied with regulations on product quality, food safety and hygiene, and regulations related to criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products.

In 2023, out of 15 entities with 23 products registered to participate in the evaluation, classification and ranking of OCOP products, 14 products of 8 entities have completed their products. Through evaluation, classification and ranking, 13 products of 8 entities were recognized as 3-star OCOP products.

Discussing at the conference, representatives of the subjects and localities all acknowledged and appreciated the coordination and support of the governing units in assisting the subjects in developing OCOP products, and at the same time focused on making recommendations on a number of issues regarding promoting trade promotion activities, intellectual property registration procedures, and quality management according to standards. Organizing training courses to improve knowledge for subjects with recognized OCOP products; subjects with potential OCOP products.

At the conference, Tam Diep city leaders awarded certificates to 8 entities with 13 products recognized as 3-star OCOP.
