At Paris Fashion Week Spring - Summer 2026, many designers brought denim back to the catwalk in a more diverse and daring combination. Originally associated with the image of street style, this material was created to suit the spirit of high-end performance costumes.

Straight-leg denim pants are fully utilized, cleverly combined with blazers and soft silk shirts to create a sense of freedom. Besides being a symbol of ruggedness, denim has also become a flexible fashion language, highlighting the contrast between strong materials and soft details.

The highlight of this fashion week is GVLUX’s The Echoes collection, born from the dialogue between “heritage” and “future”. Each design is not just a garment, but also a story about the craftsman, the power of creativity when reaching new limits.

Few people know that this is the first time GVLUX has stepped into one of the four biggest fashion capitals in the world . The designs quickly made an impression thanks to the way they exploited familiar materials through a creative, new language.

The collection opens with strong casual designs, loose-fitting blazers combined with architectural denim pants create a modern and highly practical background.

The asymmetrical skirt shape creates a movement effect that is both soft and strong. The long coat design is treated with color-blends and bold cuts, combined with ripped denim pants to create a combination of dusty and luxurious.

Focusing on exploiting the street spirit, the designer brought a cut-up denim jacket and wide-leg pants, completed with a bucket hat in the same tone, evoking a liberal yet neat look.

Instead of soft designs, the brand chose to highlight a long, straight-cut dress embellished with a wide belt, cleverly balancing the femininity and strength typical of denim.

But as time went on, the runway gradually revealed more daring experiments. The designs were meticulously hand-sewn with hundreds of hours of hard work creating new combinations that seemed to challenge the inherent definition of denim.

The collection is characterised by a contrasting juxtaposition of hard and soft, disciplined and free, industrial and artisanal. Denim – traditionally associated with everyday life – is reborn in a luxurious context, alongside silk and leather.

In a playground that has been dominated for decades by European luxury brands, this appearance arouses curiosity, opening up new perspectives about “newcomers” from Asia who dare to step out into the world, bringing with them local heritage to create a global identity.

Through this, the designer shows that his vision of transforming denim is not just a manifesto, but has become a convincing creative practice.
