Ho Chi Minh City will have showers and thunderstorms during the day; moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, locally very heavy rain.

At sea, on the day and night of August 15, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from south of Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang , the Gulf of Thailand, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), between the East Sea and the South East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone), there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and waves 2-3m high.
