Prime Minister calls on entrepreneurs to carry out 3 pioneering missions

The meeting with representatives of outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs nationwide, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the afternoon of October 9 in Hanoi, was an opportunity for the Government to listen, honor and send important messages to the business community nationwide.

In his opening speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh respectfully acknowledged and thanked the great contributions of entrepreneurs and businesses to the cause of national construction and development, especially in difficult times.

Affirming the core role of enterprises, the Prime Minister said that in the country's overall achievements, with an increasingly large economic scale and constantly improving people's lives, there are important contributions from the business community. The Prime Minister called on the business community to continue promoting the spirit of confidence, pride, self-reliance, and autonomy, playing a pioneering role in scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation, and making the private economy truly become the most important driving force of the economy in the spirit of the Politburo 's Resolutions.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh gave profound and compelling directions, affirming the Government's strong commitment to accompanying businesses.

The Prime Minister reiterated President Ho Chi Minh's message and declaration to the business community 80 years ago: Solidarity - Love - Help. The Head of Government affirmed that throughout history, the Vietnamese business community has always demonstrated this precious spirit.

In the context of complex changes in the world and the region, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Government will always stand side by side with businesses in the spirit of a constructive, honest, active Government serving the people.

From there, the Prime Minister sent "5 wishes" to the business community. First, businesses and entrepreneurs must wholeheartedly follow the Party; because our Party has no other goal than to bring national independence, happiness and prosperity to the people, including entrepreneurs.

Second, businesses and entrepreneurs promote the spirit of national solidarity, solidarity within the business community, national solidarity, and international solidarity.

Third, enterprises and entrepreneurs combine the strength of enterprises, entrepreneurs and the whole people into the strength of the nation, combine the strength of the nation with the strength of the times, combine internal strength with external strength to develop the country.

Fourth, businesses and entrepreneurs accompany the nation, firmly maintain national independence and advance to socialism to bring happiness and prosperity to the people.

Fifth, businesses and entrepreneurs together with the people create the combined strength of the entire nation, "the people make history", including businesses and entrepreneurs.

In addition, the head of the Government also asked the business community and entrepreneurs to perform "3 pioneering roles".

First, pioneering in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. Going straight into core technology, creating a trend of innovation among the entire population, contributing to building a digital nation.

Second, pioneer in legal production and business. Contribute effectively to the building of a socialist rule-of-law state.

Third, pioneer in implementing Resolution 68 of the Politburo. Make the private economy the most important driving force of the national economy, contributing to building a socialist-oriented market economy.

"With these three pioneering roles, together we will reach out to the ocean, go deep into the earth and fly high into space, so that our country can develop quickly and sustainably, entering an era of wealth, prosperity, civilization, prosperity and happiness," the Prime Minister emphasized.

To realize the commitments, the Prime Minister said the Government will accept recommendations and proposals at the conference in the following directions: open institutions, smooth infrastructure, and smart governance.

"If the institutions are not open, we must make them open; without open infrastructure, development is impossible; and governance must be smart, there is no other way," the Prime Minister affirmed.

At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to 3 units, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to 5 units, and Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 8 units with outstanding achievements.
