Vinh Long: Illegal LPG filling station discovered

DNVN - On October 9, according to information from the Market Management Department of Vinh Long province, Market Management Team No. 5 coordinated with Thanh Thoi Commune Police to inspect and discover an LPG filling station that did not comply with regulations.

On the night of October 4 to the morning of October 5, Market Management Team No. 5 (Market Management Department of Vinh Long province) coordinated with Thanh Thoi Commune Police to inspect the LPG filling station of Lam Thai Huy Company Limited (No. 330, Group 14, Tan Dien Hamlet, Thanh Thoi Commune). Here, the authorities discovered that the company was filling LPG from a HYUNDAI tanker, license plate 61H-039.xx, into the company's two LPG tanks, violating the law on liquefied petroleum gas trading.

LPG tank was transferred from HYUNDAI brand tank truck, license plate 61H-039.xx (QLTT Vinh Long).

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the LPG filling station of Lam Thai Huy Company had 2 LPG tanks but no information was recorded, the quantity and volume could not be determined. The station had 10 LPG filling cylinders, including 6 blue cylinders labeled WEIGHING CONTROLLER, CAS-SY.5532, MAX=150kg, d=50g and 4 orange cylinders labeled WEIGHING CONTROLLER, MAX=150kg, d=50g . At the scene, there were also 2 LPG cylinders labeled SOPET Gas One , 12kg, 1 cylinder labeled SP SAIGON PETRO and 1 cylinder labeled SP, SAIGON PETRO .

Outside the station area, the inspection team discovered an ISUZU truck with license plate 64C-034.xx carrying 212 12kg LPG cylinders of various brands, waiting to be brought into the station to be filled when it was inspected.

The inspection team is checking LPG filling stations (Vinh Long Market Management Board).

At the time of inspection, Mr. VVL - representative of Lam Thai Huy Company could not present documents as required by law in the business of liquefied petroleum gas, as well as documents related to the LPG filling station, exhibits and vehicles.

The inspection team drew up a record, temporarily seized all exhibits, means of administrative violations and related documents, and conducted an investigation and verification to handle them in accordance with legal regulations.
