The Prime Minister approved Mr. Le Ngoc Chau to hold the position of Chairman of Hai Duong province.

On September 16, information from the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 989/QD-TTg dated September 16, approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The above decision takes effect from September 16.

Mr. Le Ngoc Chau (52 years old, from Thanh Tri district, Hanoi). He has a doctorate in law and advanced political theory.

Mr. Le Ngoc Chau has worked for many years at the Ministry of Public Security , holding the following positions: Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command; Director of Hai Phong City Police; Director of Hai Duong Province Police; Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Commander of the Mobile Police Command.

On August 27, the Central Party Secretariat decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Chau to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On September 4, at the 25th session (special session) of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
