The Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity held its regular meeting in May.

On May 15, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity (PCTN-TC) chaired a meeting to evaluate the activities of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity in April and identify key tasks for May 2023.

According to the assessment, in April, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Corruption promptly directed and oriented the handling of a number of serious, complicated corruption and negative cases that the public was concerned about in the locality according to the Party's regulations and the State's laws. In his concluding remarks and directing the implementation of a number of key tasks in May, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directed the functional branches to focus on leading, directing the verification, investigation, clarification and speeding up the progress of handling cases and incidents monitored and directed by the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Anti-Corruption; at the same time, closely coordinate in handling new cases and incidents arising in the province to ensure the required progress and time, not to let wrongful convictions or criminals escape. Directed to improve the effectiveness of asset valuation and asset appraisal in the province in the coming time. Continue to monitor, urge, inspect and supervise the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity of assigned agencies, units and localities.
