Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen visited and encouraged flooded households in Vinh Thong and Van Lang communes.

On the morning of October 14, comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, visited, presented gifts and encouraged households affected by floods in Lung Sien village, Vinh Thong commune and Kim Van village, Van Lang commune.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen and the working group traveled by boat to approach the isolated residential area in Lung Sien.

In Lung Sien village, there are still 14 houses of households deeply submerged in water.

In Lung Sien village, 20 households have been affected by flooding, of which 14 have been deeply submerged since October 7. Although the water is receding, it is at a very slow rate (on average, only about 20cm is receded in 24 hours), making the daily life of the households very difficult.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen encouraged the Party Committee, government and people of Lung Sien village.

Sharing the difficulties with the people, comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen emphasized that the slow water receding and increasingly serious flooding trend require fundamental and long-term solutions. The province will direct the relevant agencies to coordinate research and propose sustainable response plans to stabilize people's lives and livelihoods.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to support households affected by damage in Lung Sien village.

Next, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited and encouraged households in Kim Van village, Van Lang commune, where 36 households are affected by flooding.

Here, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the local authorities to urgently deploy measures to ensure safety and support for people, especially in terms of food and accommodation while the water has not receded. Immediately after the water recedes, it is necessary to mobilize forces to support people in environmental sanitation, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring health and returning to normal life.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen requested Van Lang commune to study and propose long-term solutions to stabilize the lives of people in Kim Van village.

In the long term, comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen suggested that Van Lang commune study and propose a plan to relocate households in areas at high risk of flooding to safe and stable housing.
