On the afternoon of October 4, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Secretary of the Government Party Committee, chaired a meeting of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee on a number of important issues, including continuing to give opinions to complete a number of projects and draft resolutions to be submitted to the Politburo.

Attending the meeting were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, Party Central Committee members, Deputy Party Committee Secretaries, members of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Prime Ministers, and leaders of ministries, branches, and government agencies.

After listening to the reports and discussions, the Party Secretary and Prime Minister gave comments to the drafting agencies to continue perfecting the projects and drafts to submit to competent authorities.

In particular, with the project and draft resolution of the Politburo on reviving and developing Vietnamese culture in the new era, the Party Secretary and Prime Minister requested to review the Party's resolutions and policies on culture to continue to inherit, promote, innovate and develop in the current international and national context.

Regarding viewpoints, the Prime Minister emphasized that culture is the spiritual foundation, endogenous strength, culture guides the nation, culture has national, scientific and popular characteristics; at the same time, he emphasized the need to create breakthroughs so that culture can contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of the country, improve the material and spiritual life of the people; there must be mechanisms and policies to mobilize all resources for cultural development, promote public-private cooperation, promote the role of state capital as seed capital, lead and activate all social resources.

The Prime Minister also gave his opinion on specific goals until 2030, vision until 2045; groups of tasks, breakthrough solutions in thinking, awareness, institutions, human resources, financial resources, facilities, management, ecosystem building, development of cultural industry, entertainment industry, cultural development associated with tourism... so that the resolution after promulgation can really come into life, remove difficulties and obstacles, exploit and promote the great potential, potential, and creativity in the cultural field.
