On August 10, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Le Pham Quoc Vinh - Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that the Provincial People's Committee has sent a document requesting Khanh Viet Corporation and Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned One Member Co., Ltd. to pay attention to, continue to accompany and support Khanh Hoa Provincial Football Club to participate in the National First Division Football Tournament in the 2025-2026 season.
In order for Khanh Hoa Province Football Club to stabilize its operations, the Provincial People's Committee requests the above-mentioned units to pay attention and accompany with a support level not lower than the previous season.
The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly complete registration procedures, ensuring eligibility to participate in the season according to regulations.
Proactively mobilize and call on more businesses and organizations with potential to support and sponsor the football team, research and propose sustainable solutions to maintain the team's activities in the following years, and report to the Provincial People's Committee in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested Khanh Hoa Provincial Football Club to strive to achieve the best possible results in the new season.
On the same day, a representative of Khanh Hoa Province Football Club said that the team is planning to recruit players and is actively practicing to prepare for the new season.
As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , previously, Khanh Viet Corporation (the management unit of Khanh Hoa Province Football Club) requested the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province to direct the termination of the operation of Khanh Hoa Football Club - a branch of Khanh Viet Corporation, to socialize the football club's activities, and choose another sponsor to promptly take over the team to participate in the new season of 2025-2026.
According to the State Audit Office of Region VIII, the policy of assigning Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) to manage Khanh Hoa Football Club is not in accordance with regulations.
In August 2024, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province decided on the operation plan of Khanh Hoa Club. Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) is the unit that takes over and manages this football team to prepare for the National First Division competition in the 2024-2025 season.
