Passenger bus fire on Nha Trang – Cam Lam highway

On October 4, a representative of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Department 6 - Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) said that a passenger bus fire broke out on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam highway (Khanh Hoa province).

At about 5:00 a.m. the same day, at Km58+500 in Nam Cam Ranh commune, the passenger bus with license plate 18B-023.XX driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (49 years old, residing in Ninh Binh province), traveling in the North - South direction, suddenly caught fire. At the time of the incident, the bus was carrying about 30 passengers from Ninh Binh to An Giang .

Seeing smoke and fire, the driver and passengers quickly got out of the car safely. The fire then engulfed the vehicle, causing it to burn completely.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene, deployed fire fighting, secured the scene and regulated traffic. By about 9:00 a.m. the same day, traffic on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway had returned to normal.
