In his welcoming speech to the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee delegation, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that Thai Nguyen and Lao Cai are two localities with many similarities, holding strategic positions in the Northern mountainous region; both are important gateways and key economic regions of the North. These similarities create favorable conditions for the two provinces to enhance exchanges and share experiences in leadership and direction, especially in Party building, economic development, maintaining national defense and security and taking care of people's lives. He expressed his hope that Lao Cai would share experiences in sustainable tourism development, exploiting the province's potential and strengths, urban planning and development along the Red River as well as natural disaster prevention and control, and adaptation to climate change...

On behalf of the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, comrade Trinh Xuan Truong respectfully thanked comrade Trinh Viet Hung, former Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, for his contributions to the development of Thai Nguyen in the recent period; at the same time, he affirmed that the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term will continue to inherit and strive to continue writing the glorious and proud history of Thai Nguyen province in the new development period.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai Province Trinh Viet Hung sent the deepest condolences of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups of Lao Cai Province to the people of Thai Nguyen Province who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 11 and its circulation, hoping that the people will soon overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives. Comrade Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee congratulated Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong on being assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and expressed his confidence that with his capacity, courage and working experience, he will continue to work with the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the province to achieve even greater achievements in the new development period.
