Shining 'Vietnamese Posture' in Vietnam Poetry Night 2025

(CLO) On the evening of February 10, the District 5 Cultural and Sports Center was bustling with excitement as the Vietnam Poetry Night 2025 officially opened with the theme "Vietnam's Posture". The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Organizing Committee for Major Holidays, marking the opening of the Lantern Festival.

With a structure of 3 chapters: "Indomitable Stance", "Proud Stance" and " Ho Chi Minh City - 50 years of shining history", the program brings a series of rich and impressive artistic performances.

Famous poetic works by great names such as President Ho Chi Minh, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Le Anh Xuan, Huu Thinh, Hoang Minh Chinh, Ta Huu Yen... are selected and performed in many forms such as recitation, poetry reading, and music.

In particular, the Van Tien poetic performance - a type of folk performance with strong Southern characteristics - also made a distinct mark for the program.

Outstanding performances include a series of Ho Chi Minh's poems ("Nguyen Tieu", "Pac Bo Scenery", "Night Scenery", "Can't Sleep", "Watching the Moon"), a performance of Van Tien's poetry, reciting "Country" poetry, reading and singing with guitar "Spirit of Silence"...

The program brings together famous artists such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Thanh Su, Kim Tuyen, Meritorious Artists Phan Minh Duc, Mai Thanh Mai, Ngoc Dang..., and many young singers such as Vo Ha Tram, Thanh Ngoc, Huynh Loi, and Mat Ngoc Group.

Every year, the Vietnamese Poetry Night is held on the 15th day of the first lunar month in Ho Chi Minh City, becoming a milestone in the flow of Spring culture. The event not only attracts poets, but is also a meeting place for poetry lovers, exploring the aesthetic value of words.

With what the program brings, Vietnam Poetry Night continues to affirm the vitality and position of poetry in the flow of national culture.
